The Explanation:
Say the average good walking pace is 4 miles per hour, that converts
to 1 mile per every 15 minutes. SO,
for every 15 minutes we log, we will call it a mile.
We will be walking through Africa. We will jump from country to country
seeing differnet parts of this great continent.
The Rules:
As you will see any activity requiring energy exerted is accepted ie;
{walking, hiking, weeding, biking, swimming, climbing, shopping,
cleaning, use your imagination but you name it.}
Bring along a friend or all your friends. Count all of your partners minutes
and sessions as well. Whether it is 5 minutes or two hours per session it
counts.
Sunday night is the weekly status turn in totals day.
You do not have to declare the activity when you e-mail your totals in, just
how many sessions a week and how many minutes each session.

The challenge is to generate activity in our lives, walking is wonderful but
not the end all.
Stay active and keep track of your progress daily.
Example;
Your total minutes will be added together and divided by 15 and that is how
many miles we get credit for. THEN add the total sessions of activity you had
for that week and credit it as a mile. It would be easy to have 15 or 20
activity sessions per week.
6 (sessions) / 15,20,45,10,35,50 = 175 minutes
divided by 15 = 11.6 miles plus 6 sessions =
17.6 miles.
All you have to do is send in the sessions and minutes, ie.
(6 / 15,20,45,10,35,50)/ {Your Name/Sunday date}
and I will do the math.
